Tool & Instruments General Articles Index

The T&I General Articles Index serves two purposes as far as the Archives are concerned. It is a staging area for articles and documents that are pending placement somewhere in the T&I structure - there may not be an Index that adequately covers the specific document or there may be more than one and we are evaluating which it is best suited to. And as the title implies it is a catch all for documents that may never have an Index but is deemed relevant to the trade. Submit contributions for this Index here: T&I General Articles

Danfoss: System Troubleshooting Measuring Tools

The Honeywell S7800A KDM [Keyboard Display Module] (The Honeywell KDM. Where to put this file? Dataloggers? It could certainly be classified as a data logging component, a control component, the Combustion Sub-Archive. It could potentially be accurately classified as all of these. But one thing for certain, if you troubleshoot and diagnose equipment with the Honeywell RM-78XX Controller and it is not equipped with the S7800 KDM - it will quickly become your "go-to" diagnostics instrument.)

Inspection Cam instruments are only recently finding their way into the growing list of diagnostic instruments available to the HVAC/R & Controls technician. Their range of applications are virtually unlimited. I fully expect this particular instrument will warrant its own dedicated library here in the Technical Archives very soon. In the meantime click the image below to view a video of the Rigid SeeSnake Micro Camera.
