Many contend that the technician that specializes in oil equipment
is a dying breed - Antiquated by today's high AFUE gas fired equipment. We at
the Technical Archives beg to differ. While there is little doubt that today's
oil equipment tech faces new technologies and with them new challenges, the
consumers demand for oil equipment and subsequently qualified oil equipment
specialists - continues. NATE recognizes that fact with certification
specifically for the oil equipment technician. This technician faces technical
and mechanical challenges on a daily basis that are seldom matched in much of
the industry. We are proud to include both the Firedragon Library as well as
the Oil Equipment Sub-Category here at the Archives. A tribute to our trade
brothers as well as this segment of our trade that has provided us with such a
rich heritage in combustion technology.

The Technical Archives Administration Staff are constantly looking for new
